Furthermore, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council encourages all staff to “think local first” when procuring goods and services. The Borough will actively seek our local suppliers when tendering and invite local suppliers to provide quotes when required.
We also actively campaign to our residents the ideals of thinking locally first, ensuring that residents do all they can to promote local businesses, and to shop locally when they are able to.
The Borough takes an active role in ensuring that business is conducted lawfully. However, the role of the authority is to educate, rather than to punish. The Borough works within the Better Business for All scheme to promote all aspects of growth and information to businesses that require it.
The Coventry & Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (CWLEP) Growth Hub is the one stop shop for businesses to navigate the best business support available. The Growth Hub are regularly in the Borough helping businesses and are always available to discuss potential growth options with any business, new or old.
